For over 20 years, we have been manufacturing gears of various types as well as turned and ground parts in our factory, from the raw part to the finished end product. Many of our complex production processes require specialised expertise - which is why we are looking for you!
For our company we are looking for an employee in quality assurance / measurement technology (m/f/d) for a permanent position with immediate effect.
Your tasks
- Testing of gears, turned and grinding parts in initial, intermediate and final inspections in accordance with drawings and test procedures
- Maintenance and set-up of testing and measuring equipment
- Operation and programming of 3D coordinate measuring machines (Zeiss Contura / Calypso) and gear measuring centres (Gleason / GAMA)
- Production release and monitoring of production through in-process inspections
- Dealing with faulty parts and corrective measures - Preventive error avoidance
- Creation of initial sample test reports, verification documents according to test specifications and creation of new test plans
- Implementation of process and measuring equipment capabilities
Your profile
- Technical vocational training with further training in metrology and relevant professional experience
- Basic knowledge of mechanical production technology
- Practical experience in the application and programming of the following measuring techniques: 3D coordinate measuring technology, gear measuring machines, surface and optical measuring devices
- Experienced and confident handling of MS-Office
- Knowledge of the most common standards in measurement technology
- Reading and understanding technical drawings
- A solution-orientated, structured and independent way of working and a willingness to work a 2 or 3-shift system
